Futures at Fenway

Yesterday, we attended Futures at Fenway for the second year in a row. Though of course Adam was not present, we still represented Adam and the essence of minor league baseball fans, while two amazing games at Fenway! Here we are with the sign:

What a beautiful day for baseball it was! We first set up shop in Conigliaro's Corner, which provided a unique perspective on the game and plenty of bleacher space to display our sign. The first game (Lowell Spinners vs. Hudson-Valley Renegades) went at a brisk pace, but there was excitement at the end Jorge Jimenez rattled out a walk-off single to win the game for the Spinners!

Shortly later in the afternoon, the second game (Portland Seadogs vs. Harrisburg Senators) got underway. We ran into a buddy and joined him in Section 25 for a closer view of the infield. Since we were nice and close, I got some good photos.

Below: Bubba Bell scores on a wild pitch.

With Kyle Jackson pitching, Josh Whitesell heads off on a hit-and-run.

Iggy Suarez shoots an overthrow to first.

For more action photos, check us out on Flickr -- an album is up with Futures photos. And what does this day mean besides a lot of fun? Red Sox affliates are now 4-0 at Futures at Fenway! There's a great summary here of the superb day at Fenway. Thanks for stopping by -- feel free to comment if you were at the game!
