More of Murphdog (and Dust Pans)

Sadly, nothing new on the Adam front, we hope things are ok with him. And of course we all know how the Sox are doing, so there's not much there we want to discuss. One fun tidbit I'd thought I'd throw here is the ritual Red Sox rookies in drag day.

Our favorite victim, Mr. David Murphy, appeared as Raggedy Ann:

Dustin Pedroia (Dust Pans) was a baby (aww) and many other former PawSox friends also were forced to participate as well. Check out the video from CBS4Boston here.

Murphdog

Murphdog hit his first major league homerun! Here's the story from Nick Cafardo of the Boston Globe.

NEW YORK -- David Murphy led off the first game of yesterday's day-night doubleheader by slamming a Jaret Wright fastball into the right-field bleachers at Yankee Stadium for his first major league home run. Tall, lanky, and with a sweet swing, Murphy, the Red Sox' first selection in the 2003 draft, had waited a long time for this.

Futures at Fenway! / Season's End

On August 26, 2006, we attended Futures at Fenway and enjoy a full day of minor-league Sox love (and two wins!) Adam was not playing, but we did see him inside Fenway and he said, "What are you guys doing here?!" which was a nice greeting. Pictures and videos will be up on the website sometime. My apologies for the lack of updates -- myself and many of the other Executive Members have been busy with moving into college.

Sad news though lately on the Adam front. On August 28, 2006, Adam was placed on the 60-day DL (link here.) Thanks Adam & PawSox for an amazing season, and we'll be here all off-season.
